The old asphalt was removed, the area excavated and a compacted granular base installed before laying charcoal-bordered interlocking stone. A matching walkway and two stone steps tie the driveway into the front entrance.

A sloped, poorly draining yard regraded and rebuilt from scratch: a raised interlocking patio, a block seating wall, stone steps down to a new lawn, and planted borders along the fence line.
